About Contavelo
Contavelo makes the world's first 2-speed crank that shifts by back-pedaling — no derailleur, no cables, no electronics. Born from a successful Kickstarter with 100+ units shipped, we're now expanding into the U.S. market and looking for driven sales talent to help us grow.
The Role
As our U.S. Sales Representative, you'll be the face of Contavelo in America. You'll build relationships with bike shops, e-bike brands, distributors, and cycling communities to drive sales and brand awareness.
What You'll Do
- Identify and reach out to independent bike shops, e-bike retailers, and distributors across the U.S.
- Present and demonstrate the Contavelo 2-speed crank to potential B2B and B2C customers
- Build and maintain a pipeline of dealer and wholesale accounts
- Attend local bike expos, trade shows, and community events as a Contavelo representative
- Collect market feedback and relay customer insights to the product team
- Drive direct-to-consumer sales through your personal network and outreach
Who You Are
- Passionate about cycling — you ride, you know the culture, you speak the language
- Based in the U.S. with strong connections in the local cycling or e-bike community
- Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in a remote, commission-based role
- Experienced in sales, business development, or retail — cycling industry experience is a strong plus
- Excellent communicator who can explain technical products in simple terms
- Entrepreneurial mindset — you thrive in early-stage, fast-moving environments
